Why This Base Works

The Builder Hall sits in the core with the Multi Mortar. The Multi Mortar lasts a long time against ground troops.

The Crusher stands alone outside the walls. It baits the Battle Machine away from the core. All Cannons, Double Cannons and Archer Towers are split into four wall sections, so ground troops have a hard time clearing every section.

Trap Placement

• Spring Trap: At the Cannon entries. It flings Sneaky Archers out of the map.
• Push Trap: At the bottom. It pushes Night Witches into a high-damage zone.
• Mine: On the top side, set to air. It handles Bats from Night Witches.
• Mega Mine: At the top entry. It baits Night Witches.

What Attacks Does This Base Counter?

• Mass Barbarian & Mass Archer: The Multi Mortar sits deep in the core, so the attacker needs Bombers to open the walls and reach it.
• Night Witch: The Multi Mortar in the core deals a lot of damage to Night Witches, and the Mine baits the Bats they spawn.

FAQ

Can this BH5 anti-2 base stop the Battle Machine?

Yes, most of the time. The Crusher sits alone outside the walls, so the Battle Machine gets pulled toward it instead of the core. The Double Cannons then finish the job.

Does this BH5 anti-ground base still defend against air attacks?

Partly. The Mine is set to air for Night Witch Bats, and the Archer Towers can shoot air troops. But the base is built around the Multi Mortar and Crushers, so it is strongest against ground.
