BH6 Anti-2 Anti Night Witch Base
A protected Multi Mortar and right-side traps punish Night Witches, while the Roaster clears their Bats, so the attack loses its support early.

Why This Base Works
This BH6 base is built to stop Night Witch attacks from reaching an easy 2 or 3 stars.
The Builder Hall sits deep in the core behind multiple layers of protection. Attackers have to get through the outside buildings, Mega Mines, walls, Crusher and Multi Mortar before they can reach it.
Most Night Witch attackers enter from the right side because they want to destroy the Multi Mortar and Roaster early. This is exactly where the base expects them to attack.
The Multi Mortar sits in front of the Builder Hall with two layers of protection. Night Witches group together early in the attack, giving the Multi Mortar chances to hit several of them at once.
After the Battle Machine Altar goes down, the Night Witches tend to split toward the top and bottom. This makes it harder for the full army to stay together.
The Double Cannon inside the base is another important part of the defense. Night Witches walking around the top outside wall can still be reached by the Double Cannon. It may look like an unusual position, but its fast damage can finish weakened Night Witches and help prevent a 3-star attack.
The Roaster protects the core from Bats. Two air Mines around the core can also hit groups of Bats if they push inside.
What Happens at Stage 2?
Stage 1 is designed to damage the army before it reaches Stage 2.
Against BH6 or sometimes BH7 attacks, only around 1–2 Night Witches may survive into the second stage, and the attacker has often already lost their Hero.
Cannons become the main threat to the remaining Night Witches, while Firecrackers help clear their Bats.
Spring Traps are also placed in Stage 2. They are mainly there to bait Archer attacks, but they can occasionally catch a Night Witch too.
The goal is simple: even if Stage 1 falls, don't give the attacker an easy finish.
Trap Placement
Mega Mines: Placed outside on the right side behind the Battle Machine Altar and set to Ground. This is a common Night Witch entry point.
Mines: Spread around the core with more attention toward the right side. All set to Air to help remove groups of Bats.
Push Traps: Push Night Witches away from the defenses, forcing them to spend more time walking back into attack range. They are not intended to stop the Battle Machine.
Spring Traps: Saved for Stage 2 and mainly used to bait Archers. They may also catch Night Witches in some attacks.
How This Base Counters Night Witch
Most attackers approach from the right because the Multi Mortar and Roaster are high-priority targets.
A Battle Machine usually goes in front of the Night Witches to tank damage and trigger ground traps. It still has to deal with walls and the Crusher before getting easy access to the core.
Meanwhile, the Multi Mortar can keep firing into the Night Witches while they are still grouped together.
The Roaster and air Mines pressure the Bats, while the Night Witches eventually split into different paths around the base. The Double Cannon can then target Night Witches walking along the outside of the upper wall.
There is also an interesting risk when an attacker uses Battle Copter instead of Battle Machine. With no ground Hero moving ahead of the Night Witches to trigger traps, the Night Witches can walk directly into the Mega Mines. In testing, two Mega Mines have been able to wipe out a full group of Night Witches at once.
Real Defense Testing
I tested this base around 2300–2400 trophies with a maxed BH6.
At this trophy range, almost every attack I faced was using Night Witches, which is why I designed this layout specifically to counter them.
After watching around 10–20 defenses, most of them against Night Witch, I have not seen another BH6 completely clear this base for 3 stars.
Against the same BH level, the base commonly holds the attack to 1 star.
BH7 and BH8 attackers are much harder to stop because of the level advantage. This base is not a guaranteed defense, especially against higher Builder Halls, but it has helped reduce full 3-star clears in my testing.
If you are BH6 and keep seeing Night Witch attacks, give this base a try.
Good luck!

FAQ
Can this BH6 base defend against Night Witch?
This base was designed specifically around Night Witch attacks. In around 10–20 defenses at 2300–2400 trophies, most attacks were Night Witch, and I did not see another BH6 completely clear the base for 3 stars.
Why is the Multi Mortar in the center?
The Multi Mortar is the main Night Witch damage dealer. Keeping it behind outside buildings, walls, an Archer Tower and Crusher gives it more time to fire while Night Witches are grouped together.
Why are the Mega Mines on the right side?
Most Night Witch attackers approach from the right to target the Multi Mortar and Roaster. The Mega Mines punish this common entry and become especially dangerous when the attacker uses Battle Copter instead of a ground Hero to check traps.
Can this base defend against other BH6 strategies?
This layout may work against other armies, but my testing has mainly been against Night Witch attacks. I would not consider it fully tested against other BH6 strategies yet.
Can this base defend against BH7 or BH8?
Higher Builder Halls are much harder to stop because of their level advantage. The main goal against stronger attackers is to make the full clear more difficult and reduce the number of stars when possible.
