Why This Base Works
The Mortar sits in the core, so it can hit ground troops around the whole base and stays alive longer.
An open channel at the top baits Giants that head for the Air Defense.
The Air Defense and Archer Towers deal high damage to air troops.
Trap Placement
- Spring Traps: At both top entries. They bounce Giants or Barbarians off the map, so the Air Defense has a high chance to survive.
- Bombs: In front of the wall at both top entries. They stop Wall Breakers from opening the second wall layer.
What Attacks Does This Base Counter?
- Giant Balloon: Spring Traps remove the Giants, and the Air Defense takes down the Balloons.
- Mass Balloon: Balloons waste time destroying the Cannons, which slows them down on their way to the Air Defense.
- GiBarch: The Mortar sits deep in the base and deals heavy damage to Giants, Barbarians, and Archers.

It makes room for defenses in the core. From there, they cover a wide range and protect your resources.

Yes. This base was designed and tested without Clan Castle troops, which is normal for farming battles.
Does this TH4 farming base have any weaknesses?
Yes. The defenses are grouped in the core, so a higher Town Hall can hit several of them with Lightning Spells and the base gets much harder to defend. Against attackers at the same Town Hall level, this is not a real problem.
