Why This Base Works

The Town Hall is heavily protected with DPS, heroes, traps and the Cake-A-Pult. That makes 2 stars tough to get.

The Clan Castle Witches and their skeletons mess up spam attacks, especially since most attackers do not bring a Poison Spell.

There is an indirect dead-zone before the Town Hall. Most attackers do not expect it, so their troops skip past it.

There is no easy Giant Arrow value against both Air Defenses and Air Sweepers.

Trap Placement

• Spring Traps: On the outside. They bait Super Wall Breakers and Ice Golems.
• Skeleton Trap: In the core. It is set to air mode and interrupts air armies.
• Tornado Trap: In front of the Town Hall. It slows troops down before they reach the Town Hall.
• Bombs: On the outside. They stop Wall Breakers from opening the wall.
• Giant Bombs: Spread out. They take a chunk of health off ground troops.
• Red Bombs: Stacked on the top side. They bait the Healers from a Queen Charge.
• Black Air Mines: Spread out on the bottom of the core. They take down Battle Blimps and Dragons.

What Attacks Does This Base Counter?

• Zap Dragon: The Lightning Spells get no value on the Air Defenses, and there is no easy Giant Arrow to get both Air Defenses and the Air Sweeper in one hit. The single Infernos hold up well in long Dragon attacks.
• Zap Witch: The Lightning Spells get no value in Witch attacks.
• Electro Dragon: Most defenses sit with a 2-tile gap between them, so the chain lightning gets less value.
• Queen Charge Hybrid: The spread out Bomb Towers and Giant Bombs force the attacker to use all their Healing Spells.

Is it a good idea to stack high DPS defenses in the core of this TH11 Ranked base?

Yes, with one risk. The stacked defenses make the core dangerous, so there is a high chance the attacker gets only 1 star. But a Yeti Clone Blimp attack can wipe the core out easily.
