Why This Base Works
The base is split into a top side and a bottom side, so the attacker has to plan which side to enter. From the bottom side the Town Hall is easy to reach, but the backend deals heavy damage and acts as bait for the attack.
From the top side, a dead-zone pushes troops out to the sides instead of toward the Town Hall. The Cake-A-Pult chips damage into groups of troops, which gives a high chance the attacker ends with only one star.
Trap Placement
- Tornado Trap: Top left, next to the single Inferno Tower. Slows troops down before they reach the Inferno Tower.
- Spring Trap: At the Super Wall Breaker entry points. Ejects Super Wall Breakers before they open the wall for a Queen Charge.
- Giant Bomb: Spread around the base. Deals damage to Hog Riders and Miners.
- Air Bomb: Top left, next to the single Inferno Tower. Baits a group of Healers.
- Skeleton Trap: Next to the single Inferno Tower, set to a mix of ground and air. Ground skeletons distract the King and Queen, and air skeletons distract Dragons and Electro Dragons.
- Seeking Air Mine: On the Dragon path. Deals high damage to Dragons.
What Attacks Does This Base Counter?
- Super Yeti Clone Dragon: The core offers little value for Super Yetis and Clone Spells, and the backend is baited to punish the Dragon clean up.
- Electro Dragon: Most buildings sit with a 2 tile gap, which gives Chain Lightning less value, and the air Skeleton Trap at the single Inferno Tower makes the Electro Dragon harder to play.
- Queen Charge Hybrid: The Headhunters in the Clan Castle can take down the Queen quickly if the attacker is not careful. Giant Bombs spread around the base damage Hog Riders and Miners all the way in, and the Cake-A-Pult chips damage into groups of ground troops.

Can this base keep attackers to 1 star?
Against most attacks, yes. The split layout forces the attacker to commit to the top or bottom side, and the Cake-A-Pult chips troop groups on the way in. A perfect attack can still get 2 stars, so no base is a guarantee.
What Clan Castle troops should I use with this base?
Use this Clan Castle setup: 5 Headhunters, 5 Archers. The Headhunters are the key part, because they can take down a Queen quickly if the attacker is not paying attention to her.
