This TH5 farming base uses a two-compartment layout with clustered core defenses, Spring Traps for Giants, and Red Air Bombs built to stop Giant Balloon raids.

Why This Base Works

The two-compartment design puts a hard wall between attackers and your storages, so Wizards and Archers can't snipe resources from the outside.

The Air Defense, Mortar and Wizard Tower sit grouped together at the core. That means they cover each other and stay alive longer.

Trap Placement

• Spring Traps: Placed to stop Giants before they reach the Mortar and Wizard Tower.
• Red Air Bombs: They catch Balloon groups and shut down air pushes before they do damage.

What Attacks Does This Base Counter?

• Giant Balloon: Spring Traps cut the Giant stack early, and the Red Air Bombs handle the Balloon follow-up. That leaves very little room to run this strategy cleanly.
