Why This Base Works

The Town Hall is hard to reach from the bottom because of the dead zone. Troops have to take a longer path into the core.

The Town Hall entry is also trapped with Seeking Air Mines, which makes Battle Blimp pushes risky.

More defenses are stacked on the top side. This creates a strong backend that punishes troops after they pass through the core.

There is also no easy Giant Arrow value. The Air Sweepers push attackers toward the bottom entry, which is heavily trapped and built to increase the chance of a 1-star defense.

Trap Placement

  • Tornado Trap: In front of the Town Hall to slow troops before they reach it.
  • Skeleton Traps: In the core to distract air troops.
  • Bombs and Giant Bombs: Spread around the corners to damage Hybrid troops.
  • Seeking Air Mines: Around the Town Hall entry to catch Battle Blimps.

What Attacks Does This Base Counter?

  • Zap Dragons: The Air Defenses are spread out to reduce Lightning Spell value, and there is no easy Giant Arrow line to hit an Air Defense and both Air Sweepers together. The core holds the Town Hall, the Cake-A-Pult, the Inferno Towers and the Air X-Bows, making it dangerous for Dragons.
  • Queen Charge Hybrid: The core has high DPS to make the Queen Charge difficult, while Bomb Towers and Giant Bombs are spread across the base to punish Miners and Hog Riders during the Hybrid push.

FAQ

Why is the bottom entry hard to attack in this TH12 Ranked base?

The dead zone forces troops to take a longer path, and traps around the Town Hall make the entry risky.

How does this TH12 Ranked base defend against Battle Blimps?

Seeking Air Mines around the Town Hall entry can damage or destroy the Blimp before it reaches the core.

Why are more defenses stacked on the top side of this TH12 Ranked base?

The stronger top side creates a dangerous backend. It makes it harder for surviving troops to finish the base.
